As I think about all the struggles that businesses, both big and small, are going through during these challenging economic times, I’m reminded of the story “Pushing the Boulder“. What is this preparing us for? Where do we go from here? Do we have the strength to keep pushing and… is that what we are suppose to be doing? Much of life seems be facing various challenges and how we react to those challenges. Births, deaths, illness, financial difficulties, and the challenges of the joys in life as well. Do we react well to our joys?! Do we give thanks to the one who has provided us sooo much! Both challenges and joys build strength and character and teach us to find the higher road and keep our heads when everyone else is in panic mode or too immersed to the situation.
We all will get through this… but it might not look like we expected when we get to the other side. But whatever lies ahead, it will be better, or make us better for the experience.
Just a few musings this Friday morning that I thought I’d pass along.

I have taken on a mission to collect hats, gloves and socks for the homeless during this holiday season. I would love for you all to help in bringing these items as well as any coats or sweatshirts that you are no longer using in to Jericho Coffee. What a blessing you will be to our brothers and sisters in Christ that are currently cold and hurting. We are open from 6:00AM-9:00PM M-F and on the weekend, Sat. 7:00AM-9:00PM, Sun. 7:30AM-3:30PM.

Welcome to the new Jericho Coffee blog-site! So, this is my first attempt at blogging… yes, behind the times. But hey, serving up great coffee and meeting people one-on-one is much more fun! But, it’s a start and we’ll see where it goes.
